Welcome to Heathcote's Primary Website
Heathcote Primary School is situated 100kms north of Melbourne and is one of two primary schools that service the town.
The school's purpose is to provide a caring and motivational learning environment, developing links with the wider Heathcote community, and preparing all students to become life long learners in a constantly changing global society.
The values of Respect, Learning, Teamwork and Responsibiity are central to the philosophy of our school and express how all members of the school community will conduct themselves. Student relationships are enhanced by the implementation of the Restorative Practices approach and the Bounce Back Wellbeing Program .
The school is organised into two Learning Communities - a Prep to Year 2 Community and a Year 3 to Year 6 Community - with teachers team teaching throughout each Community.
