Heathcote PS Profile
Heathcote Primary School is located in an attractive rural setting just off the Northern Highway approximately 100 km north of Melbourne. This bush setting includes garden areas, shaded playground equipment, an oval and passive recreation areas.
A major upgrade of the school's facilities in 2003 resulted in renovations to the administration block and library and the building of a modern open plan facility which now houses four classrooms, a multipurpose area, a kitchen, an artroom and toilets. Retractable walls in all classrooms allow for teaching and learning teams to work closely together.
Our school has a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program with all students in Years 3-6 participating in an hour long garden class and an hour and a half kitchen class each week.
