Enrolments at Heathcote Primary School are welcome at any time throughout the year, so if you are considering enrolling your child at our school, please call the School Office on 5433 3090 to find out more information.
The last Friday in February and the first Friday in August are usually classified as Census Days. On these days, a census is taken of our enrolment to assist with Government funding and also to project enrolments for the following year. We encourage all families seeking to enrol their child in Foundation at Heathcote Primary School to try and have their enrolment forms completed by these dates.
2021 Foundation Enrolment
Due to the current direction from DHHS and the Department of Education and Training (DET) a Foundation Transition program will not be operating until DET deems it appropriate to implement. Most Schools across Victoria do not hold transition for their future Foundation students until Term 4. Please contact the school if you are interested in finding out more about our school.
Current advice is that schools should not be conducting onsite school tours during or after hours at this stage. When DHHS and DET advice changes we will again be offering tours. In the meantime, our school is providing you with the opportunity to take a look inside our school through a virtual tour. Please follow the link below to come inside and have a look around! Contact us via phone or email if you have any questions.
School Virtual Tour
Thank you to Mr Jarrett for Producing The School Virtual Tour.
Please download an enrolment form here or collect one from the school office. It is important that you contact the school for a pre-enrolment appointment. You can do this by email, phone or in person. We look forward to hearing from you.
Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School Zones.
