On Friday afternoons, we run our Clubs program. There are six clubs, all determined by student interests with students signing up for a club of their choice. Clubs include cooking, sensory, sport, puzzles, art, music along with garden and chicken club —something for everyone! Students have an opportunity to participate in a different club each term (and suggest different types of clubs that should run).
Clubs provides an opportunity for students to spend time exploring an area of interest with others who share a similar interest. There are students from across classes and year levels in each club, making it not only an opportunity to explore an area of interest but also an opportunity to spend time with people from across the school.
Spaghetti bolognaise was on the menu in Cooking Club. Students worked in small teams to cook the mince and pasta before senior students dished up the delights. It was voted “the best pasta ever!” by some very happy chefs!
